Luminous lanterns and larvae with COLOR CIRCLE ART PAINTS

The colors are extremely bright, light fast and highly concentrated.
Ideal for large lanterns, larvae, banners, head lanterns, stick lanterns, backdrops, carnival balls, and so on.

You probably know the problem with colors for lanterns:
For a long time, you had to rely on dyes, inks with weak color strength and poor light fastness or even stains, all of which have their pitfalls. Dyes are complicated to use and very questionable from a toxicological point of view – and as dyes they are the wrong material, but for a long time there were no alternatives.

Tips for painting with COLOR CIRCLE ART PAINTS on carnival lanterns

You can start painting immediately with the ouracrylic paints, as they already contain binders.
Use our Acrylic Binder 1 or 2 for thinning, which you can also use as a covering layer between two colors. The reason for this is that the special primer with pearl glue and so on is dissolved relatively quickly (with every color!) and becomes greasy.
With our pigment paints, you can paint directly onto the classic base.

The paints will set extremely quickly. Please note that the individual layers of paint (as with any paint) must dry thoroughly before you can paint over them.
You can usually apply quick strokes over a layer of paint after just 15 minutes.

If you want to work slowly and apply several layers of paint on top of each other, there are several options:
– Drying the underlying layer of paint with an infrared lamp (commercially available massage lamp). Caution: Observe the distance and duration, risk of fire!
– Apply an intermediate coat with our quick-drying binder “Acrylic Binder 1”.
– Allow to dry well!
– You can paint black contours, lettering etc. using Deep Black 12.
– Special effects can be achieved by thinning with alcohol.
– Alcohol (methylated spirit) can also be used to make corrections.

Back painting
Despite the extreme color intensity, back painting still makes sense, as the luminosity can be increased.
However, with COLOR CIRCLE you can now make much faster progress as you can work with greater concentration.

Top coat
We recommend the following product as a waterproof top coat:
Delta Professional clear lacquer PU-70, aromatic-free PUR clear lacquer, colorless, brilliant.

Cleaning
To keep the bottles clean, it is best to put the lids aside while you are working with them.
Finally, clean the drip nozzle with a damp cloth or damp toilet paper.
Stubborn paint residues can be easily removed with alcohol (methylated spirit).
If you have forgotten to unscrew the lids for a long time, there is another simple trick: drizzle alcohol into the lid and screw the bottle, then leave it upside down for a while. Then clean with a cloth.

Environmental protection
Please do not throw the bottles away! Fill the bottles with paint from the 65 ml bottles that are also available.
All bottles can be reused for special mixing shades, thinners, etc.
The paint can really be used up to the last drop, so you save a lot of money here too!
