Producing special dilutions for the Color wonder box
In our range, you will find a whole series of brilliant shades that we could not include in the basic equipment of the Color wonder box. However, you can use them to create additional wonderfully bright shades.
All you need are the solid colors from the Color Circle range and binding agents (also from us).
You can purchase all the colors and supplies for the Color wonder box → here.
Please note: the whole system only works with Color Circle Art Paints, as they are consistently designed for transparency and the paint formulations and binders are matched to this!

Making diluted shades
If you want to make enough a special diluted amount of one color, take a 15 ml bottle of Binder 1 and drip the original concentrated color (or mixtures of different colors) into the bottle.
Then shake well and leave to stand (the air bubbles need to dissolve).
Now you can paint directly onto the discs.
You need to concentrate yellow and orange tones more than the naturally stronger shades such as blue, violet or green.
To one bottle of binding agent, add:
Approx. 50–60 drops of yellow to orange.
All other shades between 30–40 drops
However, the number of drops required depends on how strong a color should be.
Attention: Always write clearly on the bottle! With color name, special thinner and number of drops.
Tricks
• If the paint does not flow well enough, add a few drops of methylated spirit.
• Do not use water to dilute the paint, as this will reduce adhesion to the glass or cause the paint to roll off.
• Air bubbles in the paint surface can be burst with a toothpick.
• To ensure that the painted surfaces never stick together, cover the painted side with transparent, single-sided adhesive film and cut off the borders.
